replacing kitchen faucet, going from a one handle to a two handle.
My realtor bought us a new faucet set when we closed on our house. We have
at the moment a really old ugly one handle thing. It also has a soap
dispenser and a sprayer. l took everyhting out from under the sink to look
around under there and first noticed that the copper parts all have that
water crust on them so it will be difficult to easily take apart. Second
thing is if all the water lines are going into the one handle is it
possible to make the sink have two handles with out calling a plumber? So 2 questions. How do you get the crusty stuff off the metal while it is all connected and will l need to call a plumber for the water lines to fit the new faucet or can it be done DIY?
watch this video and hopefully it will help. always read your
instructions first.

First make sure the hot and cold water valves are shut off.
once this is done proceed with the following:
1.) Cut hot and cold copper pipe connections and install a tapered thread
/ feral connection to each line.
2.) Screw on steel flex hoses to the hot and cold water lines. 3.) Install new faucet and connect using new threaded lines.
